I have 20+ years'
experience in Human Resources at both the
plant and corporate levels in
manufacturing, distribution and
healthcare environments. I am past
president of SHRM-Memphis and past co-chair
of the state conference. I recruit
only the best. I screen the candidates
and check references. I view the
situation from the company's perspective,
i.e., would I hire this person? If it's
questionable, I don't send the candidate.
My reputation rides on the candidates I
submit. By being a business partner and
learning what the company needs as well
as wants, they listen more closely to my
recommendations.
I
recruit differently from most recruiters
because I have been on the 'other' side.
I used recruiters for 20+ years before I
became one, so I know what companies are
looking for. I send only the best
candidates. I don't float resumes because
I like to protect the confidentiality of
both the candidate and the company.
Ethics are extremely important to me.
